About Our Church

Our Mission

NCF commits our fellowship to offer help, hope and love to our neighbors. NCF also commits to share the love of God with everyone we meet and encourage them to experience God’s love personally and then train them to go out and share their experience and God’s love with others.

  • At NCF we believe in Baptism by immersion. We baptize as the Spirit gives utterance during worship gatherings or events by the pond that are set aside for a baptism service. NCF’s interpretation for baptism leans heavily on the encounter between Phillip and the Ethiopian. In Acts 8:36 after Phillip had shared the gospel message and the man believed unto Salvation; they went by some water. This is what the Ethiopian asked; “As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?”  The man sought baptism and Phillip baptized him. No committee; no pastoral counseling just a desire to follow Christ and a preacher willing to participate. At NCF we make the claim that Baptism is NOT for the church; it is for the believer! NCF wants to imitate Phillip; share the Word of God by the Spirit of God and then obey God by baptizing those who profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead.

  • The Lords Supper is a memorial set by Christ Himself to “Remember” His sacrifice for our sin. NCF observes the Lord’s Supper in two different venues in order to remember all the Lord has done. In the corporate worship service we partake as the Lord leads and as the message to the people incorporates the ordinance.

  • NCF also holds special services called Love Feasts. These are usually held on Wed. evenings about 6 to 8 times per year. The faith family is invited to come and share a meal then we gather to sing spiritual songs; give testimony; pray; read God’s Word and take the Lord’s supper. These services are meant to reflect the early gatherings of the church.
